Ivy House was designed by Nigel Anderson of Robert Adam Architects - Britain's largest traditional architectural practice specialising in country houses. The bespoke building company MA Cherrington have obtained planning consent to build Ivy House on a stunning site at Chilbolton Down, Hampshire. The house will be set in 18 acres which will include 3 acres of formal gardens landscaped by RHS Gold Medal Winner, Sarah Eberle.

Myles-Lea produced this A1 pen & ink drawing before construction began on site in order to promote the project and to show potential clients how the completed scheme will appear once the buildings have been constructed and the gardens have been planted and matured. It shows a plan and perspective view of the proposed formal gardens, and an elevation of the house itself. The vignette of the proposed summer house (lower left) is the artist's own design.

Published in 'Country Life' magazine on April 6th, 2006, this drawing is an example of a specialised service offered by the artist - detailed realisations of proposed buildings and gardens. These can be executed in pen & ink or oils.
