This house, and an
estate of 250 acres is all that remains of the Wynn family domains today.
Llanfendigaid, or "The Church of the Blessed Lamb", is situated on the north
west coast of Wales. In the immediate region of the house are several early
archaeological sites, including earthworks, early hut remains, a fort and
a standing stone. On the hill opposite is the site of a battle fought by
Owen Glyndwr. The house is built in the Georgian style in 1745. The walled
kitchen still remains and is being restored to full working order.
