All designed and planted by Mr Jo van Eyck. On the right of this detail is part of Den Haag Haus, an underground art gallery designed by the Dutch architect Weil Arets.

Rosamund Wallinger commissioned this painting of her remarkable gardens at Upton Grey, Hampshire, England in 2006. The gardens, originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll in 1908 have been meticulously restored to their former glory by Mrs Wallinger since 1984. Her latest book about the garden features part of Myles-Lea's painting on its cover: Gertrude Jekyll - Her Art Restored at Upton Grey' by Rosamund Wallinger

This detail. (approximately 9" x 6") shows the gardener pushing a wheelbarrow at the top of the image. Chickens beside a well to the right,  and Rosamund Wallinger with her three dogs on the path between the herbaceous borders.

The head of the household is depicted reading the Financial Times at the table at the top of this image. The children are seen playing tennis on the court.

The small country church which stands just outside the garden perimeter is depicted in fine detail. The initials of Gertrude Jekyll's head gardener, Charles Home appear in front of his grave to the right hand side of the church. The date of the church (1690) appears in the brickwork on the bell-tower. This detail is approximately 6" x 6" in size.
